Lady Mariam demands apology from Nobat Events over insults to Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro

Singer Lady Mariam (born Mariam Kemigisha) has publicly demanded that event promoter Nobat Events apologize to Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro, the wife of musician Eddy Kenzo.

This is after Lady Mariam claimed that Nobat made “bitter” remarks about Nyamutoro while involving her in his fallout saga with Eddy Kenzo.

“We have been disrespected for a long time, and enough is enough. As women, we are going to rise if Nobat doesn’t apologize to Hon. Nyamutoro,” she said.

The “Tindatine” hitmaker warned that if Nobat fails to apologize, she will mobilize fellow women to confront him.

She added that she becomes particularly upset when a man attacks a woman and children, and warned Nobat to stop dragging Nyamutoro into his disputes with Eddy Kenzo.

She warned Nobat that if he continues involving Hon. Nyamutoro, he could land in trouble and end up “being beaten to pulp.”
